Trip to Five Cities in Italy

So far, we've learned that niche luxury fragrances are different to luxury mass produced perfumes in many aspects such as in the composition of the fragrance, the stories of their creators and the passion that drives the creation of these perfumes.

MADE IN ITALY is a  niche luxury perfume brand that is also unique in its creation. It composes five fragrances named after five cities in Italy: Rome, Sicilia, Cortina, Sardinia, and Venezia. Each fragrance is based on an image that is taken in a specific time and place. Upon smelling the fragrance, you are meant to be taken instantly to that place and time of the image. Let's take Rome as an example:

Rome

This image of Rome is taken on October 1st, 6pm, in Bevedere, Villa Borghese; the fragrance provokes a citrus aromatic, floral woody scent which reflects a perfect harmony of an intense sunset light (6pm) dancing to an autumn air (1st October).

How about Cortina?
Cortina

This image is taken on January 28th, 3pm in Hotel Cristalo. The scent of its perfume is a green fresh, floral spicy, woody musk fragrance that captures the snowy mountains of Cortina on a cold afternoon.

Next time you're in Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales or Harvey Nichols ask for MADE IN ITALY and have a sniff of these amazing perfumes to have a quick trip to Italy. The 100ml EdP is retailed for AED 475.
